The preamble of my new book. ;) I hope you like it.

The screams seemed like some animal's strange winches that appeared to come from all around me. Suddenly, everything turned reddish. Meanwhile, screaming voices alarmed the whole neighborhood.
In the distance, one could hear the ambulance's wailing, an omen of tragedy. The rhythmic sound trying desperatly to carry the death away. But I could tell it was too late.
All around me, terrified faces, attempted to block my vision.
- Don't look at it!
I had several arms wrapped around me, all at the same time. I felt like I was suffocating under all those people.
They were crying and grabbing me, with terrified screams and terror in their eyes, yet no one was seeing them.
How was that possible? They were there, the most faithful mates I had, those who would never leave me... the shadows.

However, as a psychologist, I’m usually quite curious in regards to criminals and their minds; and one of these days I started watching this documentary on Netflix . The descriptions, Bundy’s posture, everything seemed like some sort of horror show, putting into perspective what we may consider to be lucky or unlucky in this life. Before I even start watching it, I read somewhere that this was the kind of thing you shouldn’t watch alone. Sounds accurate right now. At the time, and considering my, mostly academic, experience, I didn’t think that this could actually be so upsetting.

Young Sheldon – A Heartfelt and Hilarious Journey
