Disturbingly addictive is, without a doubt, the most effective way of describing this show and the effect it can have on you. Nominated for many a prize, Outlander actually won the “Most addictive” prize at Critics’ Choice TV Awards, and, let’s face it, it totally deserved it. I started watching the first season by chance. I mean, I was scrolling down Netflix, looking for something to watch. I wasn’t sure what I was really looking for, and this series stood out. I didn’t even read the synopsis, just liked the image and opened it. The fist scenes weren’t that catching and I gave up in a few minutes.
