After a general blackout that affected the whole world, The Beatles are gone. No one remembers them. Except for Jack Malik, an aspirant musician struggling for success.
This is Yesterday's baseline, a lovely movie with a terrific soundtrack. It is the perfect film for chilling and having a good time.
Is he a fraud?
After he realizes that no one remembers the songs, Jack decides to record them as his own. Does that make him a fraud? Definitely! Yet, we can understand how tempting it was, and he has the heart in the right place.
As he gets famous, his fear and guilt rise. Eventually, he discovers that two more people remember The Beatles. But they are not mad. So now, I must ask: Do you agree with the couple? A world without The Beatles wouldn't be as good?
What other band, in your opinion, could not disappear?
A lovely time
I loved the movie. I had a good time watching it. Himesh Patel's interpretation of the songs is very good, and Ed Sheeran's participation was quite fun.
Yesterday is a delightful movie to distract you from the world. I totally recommend it.
